At JobSite.codes, we pride ourselves on simplifying job site communication and document management. One of our standout success stories comes from Risinger Build, a premier custom home building company, led by Matt Risinger. Their team has onboarded JobSite.codes as a way to streamline their communication with their trade partners on the job site.
The Origins of JobSite.codes
Our journey with Matt Risinger and his team began through an introduction from Stephanie Dailey (@stephaniebuildsit), a contributor on Matt’s Build Show Network. Stephanie, one of the co-founders of JobSite.codes, is a custom home builder herself, and originally came up with the idea for JobSite.codes as a solution to improve communication with trades on-site. Her real-world experience in the construction industry made her the perfect partner to help develop the platform into what it is today, addressing the challenges builders like Matt face in managing job site communication.
From Dropbox to JobSite.codes: A Better Solution
Before using JobSite.codes, the Risinger Build team had tested the success of QR codes on the job site, leveraging other file sharing methods to manage their job site documents. They soon discovered JobSite.codes, which was more intuitive, efficient, and tailored solution for their needs. Their team has been using JobSite.codes on their “Risinger Build” project in Austin, Texas, which is the featured “build in progress” home at this year’s inaugural BUILD Show Live.
They are utilizing our Pro Plan and taking advantage of the Design Showcase feature it offers to keep their projects running smoothly and keep their clients informed.
Welcome Neighbors: A Collaborative Project in Austin
One of the standout collaborations with Risinger Build was the Welcome Neighbors project. This was a creative use of the Design Showcase feature that was used to inform the neighbors around the project about what was being built. Our team flew out to Austin to meet with the team and make this idea a reality.
On the job site fence around the property they put a QR code that took users to a Design Showcase that was designed specifically for that neighborhood and project.
It featured a video of Matt discussing the project, his team’s work approach, and their commitment to being respectful neighbors during the construction process. They could also view renderings of the final build. This not only helped keep the neighborhood informed but also built stronger ties between the construction team and the local community. We’ve now seen several of our Pro Plan users taking advantage of this same feature as a way to turn their job into a marketing tool, attracting new builds and remodels from surrounding neighbors.
What’s Next: BUILD Show Live and Risinger Build Project
In November 2024 we’ll be presenting alongside Stephanie (@stephaniebuildsit) at BUILD Show Live to dive deeper into job site communication and demonstrate how JobSite.codes can elevate the building process. Moreover, our QR codes and platform will be viewable in the Risinger Build Project, showcasing how our platform integrates seamlessly into their projects.
Final Thoughts
Matt Risinger and his team have been a major influence, sparking creative use cases and inspiring new features to be developed for our users. We look forward to continuing to work with their team of experts and helping more builders across the country streamline their operations.
